Eli Jacobs smashed his way to winning the annual end of year Wayne Dean Shield Club Championship and in doing so etches his name on the perpetual trophy and in is now part of Snapper folklore. Full list of past club champs can be found here  SRSC History .
 Held in pumping 4-5 ft Dbah waves groms, and pros a like battled the paddle out and tore the place down. In the end Eli , with an almost stealth like approach took on anything thrown at him and came up the winner. Big congrats

Following  a massive day of surfing, it was then on to Rainbow Bay Surf Club for the end of year presso. Taking out the Open ratings for 2011 which was calculated across 3 rounds was none other than Shane Bevan.
